Bhaji in Problem a Block Buster from the word go

After a bad month of some flop films punjabi film industry was on a cliff, people were starting to think that had the punjabi viewer shifted to other grounds. After modest successful movie Young Malang , the industry saw 5 films fall right on the floor one by one . It had sent a terror wave among investors , some even started trumphets that industry was dead.
   But thanks to Bhaji in Problem and 90% House full boards confidence has again returned in the industry. The film deserves and apllause at getting opening of 1.20 crore on the day when legendary cricketer Tendulkar Decided to retire. Obviously if he played another round it would have been totally different. The second reason to celebrate is that it was competition with king of bollywood Sanjay Leela Bhansali whose films are much awaited and have blown away competition. His film Ram Leela also couldn't hinder the success of Bhaji in Problem and as the weekend is gone we see this film making a phenomenal earnings this second week overall it wouldn't be surprise if this film crosses 20 crore mark.
            The story is though average and usual smeep kang style of comedy and confusion still laughter's are throughout , commendable work by BN Sharma. But we still hope smeep kang directs a good movie with some content. Akshay khanna has although given guest appearance but still worth a watch. Harbhajan although came in one scene , but was enjoyable he could definitely get more role it would have added more to the film.
   Ending is like carry on jatta confusion and mixture of some jokes.

This was probably one the best movies to come in long time. Even though with majorly new cast and absence of even  a single comedian the movie was a trendsetter. The production house of Mr. Rahul Inder Sidhu left no stone unturned to keep the production value as high as any Bollywood film
   The music was great. Story and screenplay were outstanding it was good to see punjabi movie with some real background story and totally apart from the usual situational comedies of our times.

A must watch film. The film also succeeded hugely in box office and total collections were above 11 cr.  Enough to recover budget plus some profit for new comer producer.

This was one disappointing film . With a good star cast and a very lousy screenplay. Neeru Bajwa plays a con who along with her mama Jaswinder Bhalla and mami  marries a guy and at night gives the guy sedatives and disappear in morning with all the loot.

  So there is no plot here. harish also becomes a victim of this con with only difference that she does not take any booty before running from his home. Now this becomes a mission for Harish to find out who she was and why she didn't steal anything from him. And in his voyage to find her he discovers she is a serial  scammer and she has also dumped 3 other guys .
         So our protagonist finally discovers she is scamming a new client (how we dont know) and becomes a catrer in their wedding to confront her . She is now stuck into a situation as the new clients father GUGU Gill is a gangster. And what happens next is what is this film is all about.

HEER & HERO

                      This was half decent movie i watched recently. Had the direction been any good the film could have been better. The first half is really boring where the new comer actor is established in unusually long scene. The story is as always hollow, a man in love with a girl hires a con to get her out of her home where his father yograj singh has forcibly tied her knot.
                         Arya Babbar has tried a lot to improve his acting skills but dailogues given to him are un impressive. The director basically has no direction to where he wants to take the story.
    He is unable to show any good frame , he could have done better job by just shooting a wall. The comedy is unworthy of any mention. Needless characters and their bad ascents specially nepali come in the way. Only commendable work is of mukul dev who come frequently as a jean wearing sheriff. Manisha Lamba has lost it , she looks to fat that you forget she is manisha lamba.
  Overall the film has flopped on box office.

ISHQ GARARI

 This film deserves 1 but the other half i am giving just due to lovely Mandy Thakar.  This film proves the point that no matter how big a star film fails without content. The story was miserable at best. And rather it would be a waste of time to mention what it was. 

         The director probably dosent know there are more shots the just Middle and Close shots. But then if you watch carefully you realize why not so , its because entire film is shot in one location , near one house. Sherry Mann has proved again that acting is not his cup of tea. And if some half brained producers come upto him for a film how he can refuse. 

            Mandy Thakar is fabulous and looks perfect for the role. Miss pooja has also acted nicely as well. Her song in the film is also good. Rannvijay has improved significantly in acting but his counterpart needs some polishing. Chacha Raunki Ram and vinaypal Buttar fail to generate any laughter..

   Another Sad Flop and loss for the producers.
